Well the 3D was awesome.
But yeah, slow, and plodding. With a little dose of too much of "woe is me, I'm the that chosen one".....and another fucking prophecy about "the chosen one".
I had thought I posted about this one before. Making up for lost time.

I heard it was just James Franco looking like he wandered onto the set with three hot semi-supporting women. My other pal who saw it said it would be great for kids because it was kind of "kiddie" ish. Hmmm. Conflicted about this one.

Rented this ...it was HOOOOOOORRIBLE. It's one of the worst movies I've seen in years. It was horrible on every level. The acting couldn't have been less inspired if you gave the entire cast diverticulitis- Franco and Kunis couldn't have blown more, and the screenplay? I've seen more entertaining fan-fiction.
Here's a snip of great dialogue/storyline - after turning into the green-haggy wicked witch, her sister offers to give her an enchantment, to take care of that ...and then Mila says in the worst HALLOWEEN witch voice ever.....something like "nooOOOoo let him see what he's done to me". Yea, because that will really get him....
Visually, it was a joke. The beginning in black and white following the same formula as Victor Hugo's = great, but using the old-timey aspect ratio was just indulgent, annoying nonsense. Emerald City? You could have created a more realistic and stunning Crayola drawing, and where did the CGI come from? A decade ago?
I was seriously, embarrassed for Williams and Weisz in this movie.

This film was so awful, I felt insulted watching it.
