Does this guy have any bad ideas? LA to SF in 36 minutes. Magnetically propelled train riding on air, takes up very little space & can withstand earthquakes. Run completely on solar power & collects almost double what it uses. And the project would only cost 6-7.5 billion which is WAY cheaper than the previously approved high speed rail. Said the tickets for the trip would only need to be about $20 per person... HOLY SHIT! I imagine the airline lobbies are already gearing up to do anything they can to shut this down.
