Noticed no one has posted in a while, guessing due to everyone being connected on facebook. Lotta good memories from this place, this server, this community. Sad to see it pretty much come to its final end.

If the boards get deactivated, Hall of Flame absolutely has to be kept open and alive somehow. That stuff is pure gold.

It went down for a couple of days and I was worried that the plug had finally been pulled. I still lurk but it has been pretty quiet. Maybe the election will breath in some life.

Been really quiet. Sorry about the outage. Facebook group sort of stole everyone away (which is unsurprising really).

If I do decide to shut it down, which I have no real reason to do in the near future, I'll definitely be making sure it gets archived somewhere people can see/read it all.

I lurk around most days but have not seen a post in ages. Even Nadia's gaming news has dried up. Prehaps with the release of EQ Next if it ever comes peeps will return to this page for discussions and what not....hell maby if they have a Brell sever the actual Rants board will restart

I come back every now and then still. Mainly because I see old SR/Watchers members names in other Elite EQ guilds... makes me nostalgic... makes me open up the Watchers guild site, peruse around there for an hour and come back here. I honestly haven't been on the Facebook page since it was created. Just to get my name on there.

Yeah, lots of DSLs. They were rolling out fiber to the premesis everywhere for a while (google "NBN"), but the government got sick of paying for it in non-marginal electorates. Cable hasn't been rolled out for a while, so if you have it then you're lucky and get 100Mbit, and pretty much everything falls back to ADSL2+.
