I don't think it's SOE, I think it's SWG.
SOE just announced that they hired 250 programmers, developers, artists, etc. to work on EQ2. Once the game went live, they were planning on laying about half those people off, keeping the other half for support and development of expansions.
Instead, they're keeping all 250, and having them work on support, expansions, and development of both more free content and low-cost "adventure zones." (Which are free to Station Pass members. Yay!)

actualy jump to lightspeed is really fun. and 75k is a drop in the bucket in swg. hell its getting so bad a million credits is becoming a drop in the bucket. but with jtl its really easy to get a massive amount of money and with merchants overpricing everything and houses and harvesters taking up money. it balances out somewhat. every new thing that comes in starts at 100k and works its way down from there.
