BTK suspect in custody! Woot!

I couldn't be happier. Wichita is my hometown (as well as Embar I believe). The bastid was living in Park City (small town next to Wichita) which is about where I decided on moving to in April when I get outta the army.

Yeah.. I got the word yesterday that SWAT teams had moved into Park City. Nothing happens in Park City, so I had a hunch that it was all about BTK. Brother called me last night and confirmed it.

Weirdly though, I think the guy wanted to be caught.

Seems like it. You just don't randomly pop up from 25 years of silence if you don't want to be caught.

Its definetly safe to say that he wanted to be caught. Back when he was doing his killings he would send letter to the local news stations complaining about his lack of publicity and wanted some national attention. He wanted the spotlight and now he has it. I'm just happy that the families of the victims have some sort of closure and justice.
