oooo holy shit! I listen to heavy metal music.. i'm gonna go shoot up a school. It's shit like this that pisses me off. Stereotyping people on totally unfounded characteristics... Kinda like the whole arguement about video games causing violence and stuff...
It's a shame what happened at the school and all, don't get me wrong.. but I just noticed this while reading the story..
When was the last time you read an article about some flowery-pink shirted kid that listens to Brittney tearing up a room full of his classmates though?

How is stating actual characteristics of a single person stereotyping?
they're using a common thing such as listening to a certain type of music to associate with something evil that happened.. thus trying to stereotype listening to heavy metal music to people who shoot up schools and cause violence
Father dead, mother in nursing home with brain damage, living with grandparents, constantly picked on at school, he was fucked up. School shoulda been helpin the kid, not giving him home schooling cause of something rebelious he did.
