I got my wireless router today and hooked everything up only to find out that our college does internet subscriptions through devices rather than internet outlet. The tech told me that if I wanted to use my router I'd have to pay an extra 36$ to register the box. WTF?!
I know there are ways to get around this... anyone help?

I'm already paying 36 bucks for my comp... I think an extra 36 just to use a router is rediculous.
So how would I change the mac address of the router? It doesn't seem to have a way to alter it. It is a linksys wireless B router model number befw11s4 version 1.5
