red sox or yankees???
yankees or red sox
currently as u all know these two teams have teh greatest rivalry in major league baseball. the seaon started off with the yankees being up 2-0 to the red sox. nwo i ask who do u think will be teh champ of teh AL east. i cant answer becuase im a yankee fan and its biased.
pros of yankees
greatly improved bullpen
womack = GAWD (i have OCD with womack)
cons of yankees
age is a major concern
rivera is amazing at blowing saves
pros of redsox
probabaly best line up in baseball
moral high form last years world series
cons of rred sox
curt schilling is injury prone (waste of space on my fantasy team)
maybe too over coinfidient of last years come back
finally does anyone ever realize that ya they won it last year but this year is differnet and yankees have vastly improve their team kinda got annoyed along time ago with the most boring come backs

Ya....but Prior seems to have no off season discipline, and I think Woods problem is mechanical. He should work with Nolan Ryan and develop better leg drive.
I agree......If you watch closely you will see about every 5th or 6th pitch Wood will come forward off the mound after the ball leaves his hand. That is a sure sign of bad mechanics.
Prior on the other hand is a machine when he is healthy.

Never met anybody who didn't.
Er... correction. DH-hating so called baseball "Purists" didn't care for him too much, because he truly is the first person to be a pure "DH" and legitamize the position.
The Edgar Martinez Award (Formerly the "DH of the Year Award"). A street named after him. The respect that everybody in baseball has for this man warms my heart. At the same time, I wish that every player could retire on their own terms and after playing their entire career with a team and a city that loved them. Edgar was a shining example that free agency is a cancer to baseball. It's pretty sad that people who play their entire careers with one team are ultra rare. Barry Larkin should have gone out in style in Cincinatti.
Will he be Cooperstown Bound? A lot of experts and fans think so. His numbers don't really speak volumes compared to other Hall of Famers, but he WAS the best DH that ever lived. If you're the best at something, you oughta be in the HOF. This isn't just for DHes either. Relief pitchers and closers are shut out of the Hall too. Something's wrong with these people if they can't recognize greatness in all it's forms.
