Best TV series so far ths year
The Shield - Awesome cop soap opera. If you haven't watched, go pick up the previous season at some video store, you'll enjoy it. Characters are a bit one-dimensional sometimes, but you can forgive it because of the plotlines.
Deadwood - HBO scores again with this little romp into the past of seedy Deadwood in the Dakotas Territory. Great character development, where you find yourself liking the bad guy more than the good guy, and rooting for the characters that have to struggle to make the most simple human (and humane) gestures.
Revelations - Only one show into the mini-series and I'm hooked. A soundtrack that is emotional and moving, and a plot that hints at characters being pawns on the chessboard of continual struggle between good and evil.
Lost - A show that keeps you coming back for more, and leaves more questins than answers at the end of every episode. Still haven't figured out what is going on with all those people on that twisted little island.
My picks... yours?

Correction Mr. President, I DID build this, and please give Lurker a hug, we wouldn't want to damage his self-esteem.

Excellent addition with Battlestar Galactica, Zany. It's one of the best Sci-Fi shows in some years. The conceptual writing is pretty good, the plotlines are convoluted (which is good), but I was hoping for a little more character depth. We'll see how the rest of the season goes, but right now, I'd give it an enthusiatic two thumbs up.

Deadwood is phenomenal. Last night's ep was the best this season. I love watching Al work the intrigue.
Carnivale rocked and I'm praying they'll pick it up another year. They just can't leave it the way they did. Good lord. Awesome show.
Six Feet Under will have it's last season coming soon, so looking forward to that. I can't think of a better acted show, period.
HBO's also coming out with "Rome" sometime this year. It looks pretty good.
For the most part, network television just doesn't "do it" for me anymore. HBO spoils you to no end. Must be all those cocksuckers in The Gem Saloon and their fucking filthy mouths!
