Air America investigated - threat against the Pres?
Correction Mr. President, I DID build this, and please give Lurker a hug, we wouldn't want to damage his self-esteem.

Stupid question time, but why does a radio station have to change it's entire format? Is Air America so full of it's lineup that you can snurp 3 hours here and 3 hours there?
Seems to me if they wanted to grow ratings faster they might put the 1 or 2 most popular shows out for... syndication (might be a different term). Hell in Kansas City, I'd listen with the same sense of comedy that I listen to the on-air 'talent' when the Sports station is blathering about fishing or golf.

The new Arbitron figures for Winter 2005, which covers January, February, and March, show that WLIB, the station which carries Air America in New York, won a 1.2-percent share of all listeners 12 years and older. That is down one tenth of one point from the station's 1.3 rating in Winter 2004, the last period when it aired its old format of Caribbean music and talk.

Al Franken's been clobbering Limbaugh in several markets.
The numbers are just as striking when narrowed to the specific period from noon to 3 P.M., when Franken's program airs on WLIB opposite Rush Limbaugh on WABC. Even though Franken once claimed to be beating the conservative host in New York, in the Winter 2005 figures, his program attracted a 1.9-percent share of the audience to Limbaugh's 3.2 percent in the 25 to 54 age group.

It doesn't have to.Stupid question time, but why does a radio station have to change it's entire format?
There is a local station here that is mostly conservative but it also has Alan Colmes on in one time block.
End the hypocrisy!

So you call Alan Colmes a conservative?
I was not necessarily calling him a liberal, but he is not what I would call conservative by comparison to the others on that station.
