So, where is your character?

Post by Finglefinn »

When I quit playing in 2003, I gave my character to my best pal Crankie. When Crankie quit, he gave my character to Embar. So, anyone know where my character is now?

Your character is in a Chinese sweatshop making sneakers.
I'd like to see things from your point of view but I can't get my head that far up my ass.

Good question. I gave my account to a shitload of people.

My account is sitting and waiting to be reactivated in about 3 weeks. Yea, I'm giving in to the monster once again and getting sucked back into EverCrack.

Mine is sitting in whatever expansion i don't own that Khur put her, too bad i can't for the life of me remember the password to the account... "Hi Sony ? Yes this is Ariannda, no you're right it's Bartessa i'm a moron, what's my password ?" I keep thinking of reactivating, but with levels and expansions and gear i'm just not sure it'd be worth it, even if i had a computer that could run te game... maybe i'll just go back to EQ2

There's a thread on the SK boards about some 55sk asking if it's worth coming back after 3 years and the basic consensus is yea, it's not that hard to catch up, and it's still a good game.

Crankie never passed the torch to me bro. And I think Embar is parked in some nasty dungeon. Heh.. I don't think he's even in a safe spot.
Correction Mr. President, I DID build this, and please give Lurker a hug, we wouldn't want to damage his self-esteem.

You're right Embar. It was Hyam he gave all our characters too. Damn clerics all look the same. What's up, bro?

Someone told me just six months ago they saw Fingle running around somewhere. That's rad.

I did the sentimental thing and logged out on the dock in EK since it was the spot that Kayia and I used to spend countless hours just sitting and talking together.

Moments to remember.

I quit about 2 years ago and just came back a few weeks ago. My friend had kept my account going and occassionally logged my chanter in for KEI, vials, etc. I found myself parked in The Guild Hall ... which didn't exist back in the day. It took me about 30 minutes to find my way out.

And yeah, I'm finding it's not that hard to get back into the swing of things although understanding all the new shit (tribute, AAs, DoN progressions, etc) is a PITA.

You havin any trouble finding groups? Last time I was on the only pickup group I could find lasted about 10 minutes...rest of the times was boxing with RL friends.

I've quit EQ for 3 years now. Last that I remember my warrior Ethelwolfe was sitting in the Bazaar. Chances of me getting back into the game is practically nil.

That's what did it for me. I decided I needed to build a new PC, kept putting it off because I didn't have time to build one, decided to buy one and then decided if I was spending the money I might as well spring for an Alienware. It's by far the best PC for the money I've ever owned. Of course having it meant I wan't to check out what it could do in EQ.
